Nuit Blanche 1
Nuit Blanche 1: So this shot isn't terribly Nuit Blanchey but it is my favourite from last night. I missed the fireworks but had a very nice time walking around le Vieux Port with thousands of other revellers taking in the sites and the music. There was a Ferris wheel, DJs, skating, snowball fights and, in front of all, lines. But I had a fun time and an even better one when I met up with Andrew and Trevor and stood in more lines, one for beer and then a really long line that we gave up on to get into "The L'Oreal Experience". We never found out what the experience was going to be but we were pretty sure we were all going to get our hair coloured!
The entertainment in that line was also unintentionally hilarious as an aerobics instructor in a red jump suit, knee high boots and a big black belt attempted to lead the crowd in calisthenics. The music was monotonous and her words were painfully repetitive consisting of only "un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit", repeated about 400 times. And this routine was projected 10 stories tall on the building behind her...painful!
