Weekend at the cottage...and some live music: We went to Grand Lake this weekend for a lovely get away with Andrew and Trevor. Sadly the weather wasn't so great on Saturday but we did get a good amount of sun today and of course regardless of the weather the company and food were both fantastic. Luckily the thunderstorms didn't hit until 4:30, just as we were about to leave.
When we got home one of my new favourite bands was playing at the Metropolis. I got there just in time to catch the second half of Woodhands' act and luckily that's when they played my favourite songs. They were a lot of fun, very energetic and had to be pushed off the stage. They were followed by another electronic act by the name of We Are Wolves and it was a loud and raucous act! The crowd was very into the show and, as usual for the shows we have been attending lately, very young! I feel older and older these days. I was happy, it was a good show and I snuck my camera in successfully and took some shots.
