Rescued
Rescued: After a "Moving Day" BBQ provided by Kitty at our place, Claire and I went out on the terrace for a breath of evening air and noticed that a very large amount of smoke was coming from a building near Jarry park. Correctly assuming that it was a fire, we decided to investigate. It was quite a busy scene but (un)fortunately, by the time we arrived, the fire had been extinguished and there was nothing very exciting to see. That said, there was something interesting to hear. There was a constant baying from one of the apartments in which dog had been left alone in a burning building (that wasn't burning anymore). Give the owners the benefit of the doubt, we assumed that they had been out when the evacuation took place. Before we left, across the street came the above scene, a fire-fighter had received the keys from the apartments owner and had retrieved the dog for her. She was quite overjoyed!

Tomorrow I will show you who had to be called in to help fight the 2 city alarm blaze;)!
